Helical staircase with black marble and glass built in a luxury villa in Rome, Italy

We have collaborated with an important architecture Studio in Rome during the building of a luxury private villa located in the Axa district, a few kilometers from the Roman coast.

The architects’ exclusive ideas came to life through the creation of a custom-made helical staircase with a great aesthetic impact and an exciting visual effect.

With its harmonious and sinuous shapes, this staircase integrates and fits perfectly into the architectural context of the villa.

An helical staircase of high design, a work of contemporary art that not only fulfills its function as a connecting element between floors, but becomes a furnishing accessory that matches the aesthetics of the space in which it is placed.

Great attention was paid to the materials used: glass for the railing and black marble for the steps.

The sinuous and massive glass railing is fixed and secured by large white side studs. The glass, in addition to allowing the passage of light and offering a complete view of the surrounding space, gives an elegant scenographic effect.

The use of the absolute black marble on the tread makes the steps refined and precious.

We have finally completed the work with a smooth plaster finish.

The helical staircase built in Rome has a diameter of 270 and is part of our Luna series.

The LUNA helical staircase features rounded lines and delicate contours. It is a closed and extremely sturdy model with a closed riser.

The crescent-shaped steps make the helical staircase slender.

All our stairs are an exclusive European patent.
