L’Elicoidale is an innovative patented system in Europe.
The patent envisages the absence of the classic column present in all spiral staircases and the use of a reinforced concrete monolithic step.
This system enables the design and construction of staircases that reach significantly greater heights – up to 15 metres – compared to heights normally reached with traditional helical staircases.
The central column, unique in its kind and patented as a result of its almond-shaped geometry and torsional style, eliminates the restricting centre column of ordinary spiral staircases, creating a much wider and walk-on passageway even in the smaller versions. It also enables greater opening of the tread as a result of the special side sections.
